Embracing New Beginnings: Starting My Blog and the Washington Commanders’ Fresh Start

·

Hello everyone,

Welcome to my very first blog post! 🎉 Starting a new blog is an exciting journey, much like the recent ownership change of the Washington Commanders. Both represent fresh starts, filled with potential and new opportunities.

Why Start a Blog?

Starting a blog is a fantastic way to share your thoughts, experiences, and passions. Whether you’re looking to document your journey, share your expertise, or connect with like-minded individuals, a blog provides a platform to do just that. This blog is a space to explore and discuss various topics that interest me, from photography to sports and everything in between.

The Washington Commanders’ New Chapter

As I embark on this blogging journey, the Washington Commanders are also entering a new era. The team recently underwent a significant change in ownership, with Josh Harris and his group taking the reins from Dan Snyder1. This transition marks a hopeful new chapter for the franchise, promising improvements and a renewed focus on success.

I was once a Washington Football Fan.  I spent many years cheering on the Hogs, Smurfs, Downtown Charlie Brown, Gary Clark, Art Monk, Dexter Manley, Dave Butz, Joe Jacoby and many other great players.  The day Jack Kent Cooke passed away was probably one of the darkest days in Washington’s history.  Soon after his passing, we entered the Dan Snyder era and a 24-year drought that drove some of the best fans away from the Commanders and the NFL.

When I sat down to compose this blog post, I began to think about this new beginning for the Commanders, how I reacquaint myself with the team, become a super fan and fan of the NFL, and how this is a new beginning for all of us.

Looking Ahead

As I continue to develop this blog, I draw inspiration from the Commanders’ journey. Both endeavors require dedication, adaptability, and a vision for the future. I’m excited to share this adventure with you and look forward to connecting with readers who share my interests.

Thank you for joining me in this new beginning. Stay tuned for more posts, and feel free to share your thoughts and suggestions in the comments!

Until next time, RAISE HAIL!
